Bardellis - Kloof Street is situated in the old Rosenhof house estate. It is one of the original homes in Cape Town dating back to the early 1700s. It was used as a hire house in the 1800s and the first appointed astronomer to the Cape lived in the house and observed from a hut in the garden. In keeping with Bardellis style the restaurant has several rooms with its own unique feel. Bardellis has been cooking quality Italian cuisine in the suburbs since 1992 in the suburbs of Cape Town. This old home is now providing locals and tourists with good value meals.The restaurant has a street facing balcony with views of Table mountain. Enter the restaurant and feel the warmth of a homely atmosphere. The small room on the left has a fire place which provides a cosy warmth in the winter months. A small bar and deli fill the centre of the restaurant. The various rooms are ideal for booking out for private functions and the courtyard out the back seats up to 30 in a demarcated smoking area.
